FieldExplanation
img srcEnter the URL location of the banner you wish to serve. If this is a third party ad server image, Use keyword 'RANDOM_NUM' for random number generation in url syntax, example ord=RANDOM_NUM. This is typically for cache busting purposes.
Auto-size image? (.gif only)For SSI serving: Used for height + width img tags. This is only useful if you are using Server Side Includes.
Or enter image dimensions:height & width: For SSI serving: Specify the exact height and width of img tags. This is only useful if you are using Server Side Includes.
Clickthrough URLThe URL to go to once the banner has been clicked. This may also be a third part ad server click through URL. If its a third party URL, again put RANDOM_NUM in place of any random number cache busting requirements.
Clickthrough TypeThis is useful for SSI style ad serving. If the ad is RichMedia, use option 3 for RichMedia type
alt textText to appear as part of the ALT portion of the image tag. Used for SSI style ad serving. An alt tag maybe like "Click Here!" when the mouse moves over the Ad, the text will appear as a hint pop up.
Extra text
ExtraText is used in several ways. If you are doing SSI style ad serving, specific additional cust text can appear below the banner for each banner. Example: "Click here for savings at XYZ corp!

If you are using Richmedia ads, then this is the field where your RichMedia HTML will be inserted.
Run start date The start date is the starting point you want this ad to appear in the rotation.
Run end date The end date is the ending point you want this ad to stop appear in the rotation. The ad serving engine will evenly distribute the number of impressions across this period of time.
ImpressionsThis is the amount of impressions you wish to serve for this banner. The impressions divided by the days between start & end date, will determine how many impressions max to serve per day. If you wish to have a banner show up more frequently then another, increase the amount of impressions.
Groups Determine which groups this banner will belong to. A banner can be apart of more then 1 group. The group clickthru is for text links only and should not be used for banners.
Browser Restriction Do you want to target this banner to certain browsers only? ( IE, Netscape...) This allows targetting to the specific browser the visitor has running.
Per-User ExposuresDo you want to limit the amount of exposures a visitor see's of a particular banner?
Domain RestrictionsHere you can specify targetting based on domains. Example do you want this banner to appear to AOL.COM visitors only? use aol.com then. This means this banner will only be shown to aol.com visitors only!
Campaign Which campaign does this ad belong to? Here you designate which campaign this banner belongs to.
CPMWhat is CPM rate for this banner? (or CPC rate if its cost per click)
Cost Basis Is this a pay per hit, pay per click, or other?
Default Ad?Is this a default ad for this group? A default ad is served if there are no remaining impressions left in a day. Important: Each Group should have at least 1 default ad!
